Frankonia has designed and built anechoic chambers and shielded rooms since 1987 from Heideck, Bavaria, with its own absorber, shielding, door and automation manufacturing. ICX Lab is the authorised distributor and manages your chamber project locally, from site survey to validation.
Absorbers, shielding panels, doors, gates, turntables and masts are all made by Frankonia, so one company is responsible for the performance of the finished room.

Frankosorb absorbers are rated A2 non-combustible to EN 13501-1 and are chosen per chamber to match the frequency range and test distance.

Classic pyramidal absorbers for EMC and MIL chambers.

Ferrite tiles paired with short hybrid pyramids for impedance-optimised broadband absorption.

Absorbers for OTA, near-field and far-field antenna measurement chambers.
Self-supporting modular construction from 2.0 mm galvanised PAN panels, with single-leaf, double-leaf and sliding doors and fully automatic sliding gates, plus platforms to 80 t and ramps.
Positioning built for the chamber, with a controller that speaks SCPI and GPIB to the EMC software you already run.

Turntables with integrated grounding ring, energy chains and optional exhaust, cooling and dynamometer integration.

Fibreglass and plastic masts that keep reflections out of the measurement.
